APF first met me when they received a frantic call about a dog that had been hit by a car and seriously injured. I was lying by the side of the road unable to move with one of my legs completely gone but, as a homeless dog of Egypt, I had no owner to care for me and get me to a vet.
That is where people like you come in because thanks to kind animal lovers like you, an Animal Rescue Officer from APF was able to pick me up and race me to the dog clinic at the shelter. I was in a lot of pain and my injury was very serious, I had undergone amputation surgery for my injured leg, but over the coming weeks, things started to improve and eventually I was able to move again.
I am very well looked after here but there are so many of us. Looking after hundreds of animals costs money and we desperately need your support. Will you please do something very special and choose me as your sponsor dog?
