Liza
She is a blind senior dog, her owner did not have mercy on her, she dumped her when she needed her the most.
Liza's owner had Liza and another dog, when she got married, her husband forbid her from having anything to do with the two dogs!!! not even clean for them!!! She locked them up in a room and never entered that room for years. She used to bring someone else to clean for them and give them food.
One day the other dog got sick and died, the owner learnt about it after the dog died. This is when she decided to surrender Liza to APF shelter.
At APF we did everything so she could see again, but her eye surgery was not successful. We believed that Liza was one of those dogs who are destined to spend the rest of their lives at the shelter.
Until one day a very very kind lady asked to adopt her with another dog (Bella). And there she goes, Liza (and Bella) at their new loving so kind home. isn't that heartwarming?
