Fire arrived at our shelter with a shocking injury to her back. Some had set her on fire.

Fire was in excruciating pain when she was found. What would have happened to her if there had been nowhere for her to go? She would have died a slow, agonizing death.
For street dogs like Fire, with no owner to care for them and nowhere to call home, this is now a very real risk.
As you read this, the dog facilities at APF Shelter are operating above capacity. This includes the clinic, where sick and injured dogs receive treatment and ongoing care, as well as the dogs area, where healed dogs live until they find their forever homes.

Every day, sick or seriously injured dogs like Fire arrive at our small dog clinic. Thanks to compassionate people like you, they receive life-saving medical treatment, nourishing food, and a safe place to lay their heads at night.
